RAPID ANTIGEN TESTING (20 MINUTES)
If you have active symptoms such as Fever or Chills, Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, Fatigue, Muscle or body aches, Headache, New loss of taste or smell, Sore throat, Congestion or runny nose, Nausea or vomiting, Diarrhea.
You recently had close contact or exposure with someone diagnosed with COVID-19.
RT-PCR GOLD STANDARD (60 MINUTE TURN AROUND TIME)
Travel, pre-surgical testing, employment or any reason that requires diagnostic evidence requires diagnostic evidence require a COVID-19 test.
You are personally in an “at-risk category” or plan to visit someone who is immunocompromised, elderly or has health issues that put them at an increased risk of getting COVID-19, Influenza or other respiratory infections.
You require the “Gold Standard” to testing which is a RT-PCR (molecular) testing.
FAQs
Do I need a prescription to get tested for COVID-19?
It’s preferred for all patients but required for those who are not residents of New Jersey or are under age 1.
Can I use the RT-PCR for travel?
Absolutely! It is the gold standard of testing. Test results are available within 12-24 hours. For results within a couple of hours we charge an additional fee. Our RT-PCR test is accepted by airline and cruises.
Will my insurance pay for my lab testing?
It depends on your insurance carrier. We can check for insurance verification prior to your appointment. For walk-ins you will be responsible to pay for your testing then you can submit an insurance claim to your insurance carrier. If you are not insured and do not have a Social Security Number, the PCR test will cost $160 and the Rapid Antigen will cost $100.
Do you test for other labs and services do we offer?
Yes we can test for COVID-19 + Flu A&B + Strep + RSV all with one test. We offer Non-DOT/DOT drug and alcohol testing, any many more. We offer Apostille and Notary service by appointment.
What forms of payments do you accept?
We accept Medicare Part B, all major credit cards/debit cards, HSA cards, wire transfers, and private insurance.
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
Insurance card (Medicare Part B), proof of identity such as a driver’s license or non-driver’s license photo ID, Passport or Passport Card. The ID must not be expired. Please bring the confirmation code that you received in your confirmation text or email message.
How is my sample for testing collected?
You will be provided a swab and asked to collect a sample of nasal secretions. This is performed by inserting the swab into your nostril approximately 1 inch into the nasal passage with the most visible drainage. Then, the swab is rotated gently and removed and this process is repeated on the other side. If you do not feel comfortable testing yourself we can do it for you.
